Warehouse Assistant – Seaford Showroom

Location: Seaford, VIC
Employment Type: Full-time, On-site
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Role

As a Warehouse Assistant, you will support the day-to-day operations of our Seaford warehouse and work closely with our showroom team. You will be responsible for receiving and organising stock, preparing customer orders, assisting with loading and unloading, maintaining stock levels and ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, organised and safe.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a busy environment and takes pride in accuracy, organisation and providing good customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, check and organise incoming stock
  • Load and unload products safely
  • Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for collection and delivery
  • Assist customers with product collections when required
  • Organise and maintain warehouse inventory
  • Assist with stock checks and stock management
  • Assist with ordering and maintaining appropriate stock levels
  • Prepare products for delivery
  • Operate a forklift safely, where required
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
  • Follow workplace health and safety procedures
  • Handle bathroom and kitchen products carefully to minimise damage
  • Work closely with the showroom and sales team
  • Assist with general warehouse and showroom tasks as required

About You

The successful candidate will be:

  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
  • Organised and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Detail-oriented, particularly when checking stock and orders
  • A confident team player who can also work independently
  • Friendly and professional when dealing with customers and staff
  • Safety-conscious and committed to following workplace procedures
  • Willing to learn about our products and warehouse processes

Skills & Experience

  • Previous warehouse, logistics or retail experience is preferred
  • Experience in loading, unloading and packing goods
  • Experience with material handling
  • Forklift licence and experience is highly regarded
  • Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to safely handle and move products
  • Previous experience in the bathroom, building, kitchen or home improvement industry is an advantage, but not essential

Sales Assistant – Bayswater Showroom

Location: Bayswater North, VIC
Employment Type: Full-time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Role

As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a welcoming and professional experience to customers visiting our showroom. You will assist customers with product selections, answer enquiries, provide product information and help guide customers through their bathroom renovation needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist customers in our showroom
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products
  • Provide product information, pricing and availability
  • Prepare quotes and assist with sales enquiries
  • Follow up customer enquiries and leads
  • Maintain a clean, organised and presentable showroom
  • Assist with general showroom and sales administration
  • Work collaboratively with the wider Royal Vanities team

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Is confident, friendly and professional
  • Has a genuine interest in sales and customer service
  • Can confidently communicate with customers and understand their needs
  • Is organised and able to manage multiple enquiries
  • Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Previous retail, showroom or sales experience is desirable but not essential
  • Experience in bathroom, building, renovation or home improvement products will be highly regarded
